System Fighter is a rogue antivirus application. It is the latest variation in the relentless wini family of rogues. (The last of these was systemveteran (systemveteran removal guide.) Rogue antivirus applications usually install through a popup website that appears to be scanning your computer for viruses (and finding them). This is usually simply a really good animation and you get to see the same thing no matter which web browser or operating system you visit from. They will also popup warnings about files infected on your system and claim the only way to fix the problem they find is to purchase their software. Of course, you can’t fix something that isn’t wrong and so purchasing really doesn’t accomplish much for you. Read on for how to remove system fighter:

How to Remove SystemVeteran | Removal Guide
SystemVeteran is (yet another) variation from the wini family of rogue antivirus applications. Their last one prior to this was BlockProtector (BlockProtector Removal Guide) but it is a VERY long lived family and they are churning out one variation every two to three days. Most of these have the same look and feel and only differ in the name as well as the file names. They are all a pain in the neck for those that are stuck with them as they all popup warnings about threats detected on your computer that only they can solve if only you would purchase their software. Of course, then they really don’t do much because there weren’t these threats to begin with. Read on to find out how to remove SystemVeteran:

How to Remove MaCatte Antivirus 2009 | Removal Guide
MaCatte Antivirus 2009 is a rogue antivirus application that hopes you will mistake it for the popular McAfee antivirus. Their look and feel is very similar to that of McAfee, but as most rogue antivirus applications it is a program that will give you little more than falsified warnings about non existent threats to your computer and then claim to not be able to fix any of the problems unless you purchase. Of course, it really doesn’t do anything because all of the things that it has warned about are made up phantoms. Read on for how to remove MaCatte Antivirus 2009.

How to Remove BlockProtector | Removal Guide
So… the tail end of last week saw another new variant in the Wini family of rogue antivirus: blockprotector. It’s the successor to….. Blockscanner (blockscanner removal guide) as well as the long list of prior variants that you can find on that page. (Sorry… it’s just getting to be ridiculously too many to list in each post.) The wini family of rogues is running around 2-3 variants a week at this point in time and they mostly look the same with only the name being changed. They are pushed by scare tactics of web pages that appear to be scanning your hard drive (animations) and like most rogues they don’t really do much. Read on for how to remove blockprotector.

How to Remove BlockScanner | Removal Guide
BlockScanner looks very much like it’s sibling blockwatcher and indeed these two rogue antivirus applications come from the same prolific family (wini). This family includes numerous other rogue antivirus appications such as… Softbarrier (softbarrier removal) and many others have looked the same… Shieldsafeness (see the shieldsafeness removal guide) as well as… SoftStronghold (softstronghold removal guide) and succeeds the following variants in this prolific family…. Softveteran (see the softveteran removal guide) but…. SoftCop (see the SoftCop removal guide.) But, the line goes much further back…. Softsoldier (How to remove SoftSoldier), ( TrustFighter TrustFighter Removal Guide, TrustSoldier removal guide and the following others… SafeFighter (Safefighter Removal), TrustCop (TrustCop Removal Guide), SecureWarrior (SecureWarrior Removal), SecurityFighter (SecurityFighter Removal), SecuritySoldier (SecuritySoldier Removal). Believe it or not, that’s just a sampling of the last months worth of variations. (And I may have missed a few.) These rogues install via trojan horse activity, popup warnings and threats claiming that your system is at risk from multiple files it claims to find. They (of course) want you to purchase for full “protection” from all these threats. Read on for how to remove blockscanner.
