Adware, spam, bots, keyloggers, 180solutions, etc. etc. etc. oh my…



Spyware Confidential has an article and there are more details at the spyware warrior. Of a particularly bad spyware infestation triggered by the visit to ONE web site.



Apparently she was investigating spyware and visited one porn site which prompted a 14 minute install fest of all sorts of bad stuff. She has video of the infestation. There is also a similar account at the sunbelt blog of a similarly nasty infestation. This one related to child pornography.

So, do you believe that the ad/spyware makers are just “legitimate marketers trying to make an honest living?”
