Linux home office article part 3
Newsforge has the third article in their series on Best Practices for the Linux Home Office. The main highlighs in this entry are RAID and backups and disaster recovery.
The point should be taken as the hard drive is the primary moving part in the system (outside of the fans) and the most likely point of failure. As cheap as hard drive prices have gotten for the capacity, I’m seriously looking at RAID for the next iteration of upgrades on all the machines here.
