Firefox Market Share slips in July

The July web browser market share stats show a slight decline for Mozilla Firefox, the first decline since it’s 1.0 launch around 9 months ago. ITFacts is reporting that according to statistics from Netapplications, IE has 87.2%, Firefox 8.07%, Mozilla Suite 0.52%, and Opera 0.49% of the market. (No Safari?)    Send article as PDF […]

Mozilla Firefox passes 80 million downloads

According to the counter at spreadfirefox.com, Firefox has now surpassed 80 million downloads. (Well 80.1 million when I looked.) Version 1.0 of Mozilla Firefox was released ~9 months ago.    Send article as PDF

I had run across a link that netcraft was trying to combat phishing schemes and I didn’t have time for a detailed look at the time. I’ve since revisited and found their Netcraft toolbar.
