Public CWSandbox (es)…

Around the time of this latest IE exploit hitting the web, there was also mention of some publicly available CWSandbox sites for the submission of malware. It’s an analysis tool that can give you a report of how the malware behaves and what it would do if run in a “non-sandboxed” environment. There are a couple up now it seems. One reported is, Sunbelt has one at and they have alternate URLS….

For all of these, I would suggest restraint, only submitting files that you REALLY suspect are bad. As noted, I doubt they’d like to analyze your entire system folder….

Yes, it’s an automated tool and it doesn’t take up anyones time to do it, but processor time is money as well….
