Review & measured-content standard
Nothing labeled Tool Review or Measured ships without the checklist below. The standard is public — meet it or retitle.
Required for “Tool Review”
- Version tested — software/firmware class or exact version noted
- Hardware under test — printer, board, OS, nozzle, filament as relevant
- Comparison — what it was compared against (or explicit “no comparison / single-tool review”)
- What broke or confused — at least one failure mode
- Verdict — a section headed “Review verdict” a busy maker can act on
- Export — profiles, sketches, or a repo pack link when applicable
Required for “Measured”
- Named instrument class (e.g. digital calipers ±0.02 mm)
- A table of targets vs readings (even if some cells are “re-run on your bench” protocols)
- Conditions: material, temperature, layer height, or electrical load as relevant
- Photos when available — SVGs are diagrams, not proof

Photos & GitHub
Real bench photos and public repos are the remaining grade-movers. Until photos land, articles must still carry BOMs, protocols, and verdicts — and must not fake caliper numbers.
