Additionally, Microsoft will issue two non-security high-priority updates through Windows Update and Software Update Services, and three non-security high-priority updates through Microsoft Update and Windows Server Update Services. It is standard Microsoft procedure to not disclose the nature of the updates beforehand for security reasons.
The betanews story links to this article, which details the javascript vulnerability in IE that has been unpatched for some time (listed as more critical recently.) I don't see any definite information that this is one of the patches. (Although I would hope it is.) The securityfix has a bit on this as well. --update 12/9-- Ok here's the link to the advance notice.
