The Security Fix has reported on the unraveling of a ring of identity theives after the arrests of the writers of the zotob and mytob worms. Apparently they have leads on about a dozen different people following the arrests last week of the suspected virus writers.

The suspicion is that these individuals weren't necessarily involved in hacking or writing the worm, but were perhaps involved in a wide range of cyber crime.

Good to see them uncovering leads, maybe lessons learned breaking this Idenity Theft ring will assist in working to break up other such groups.
