Cooltech zone currently has an article(slashdotting underway I think), on the topic of an inkjet buying guide. It may be a bit slow at the moment, but if you're in the market for an inkjet printer, this may be just what you need to help sift through the marketing.

One of the first things I can suggest in shopping for a printer is look at not how much the printer is, but how much the ink cartridges are in figuring if it's a good deal. After all, if the printers $30 and ink is $60 a replacement is it really better than the $120 printer with $15 replacement cartridges? The moral of the story is to think about the cost over the life of the printer instead of the initial purchase price.
