Ever Heard of alphainventions.com?

I noticed a lot of traffic from alphainventions.com to one of my sites today and took a look to see what it was.

It looks like a pretty interesting idea to get viewers to your blog WHEN you're actually there and posting. The idea is that the best opportunity for interaction between a site owner and visitors is at the moment that the site owner is publishing because they are there and can respond to comments. It's an interesting idea and it looks like it can send anywhere from 1 or 2 to 30 or more visitors to your site depending on how busy things are. (You can get bumped out of the viewing queue by other sites.)

--Update 1:30AM eastern.... (gulp) - did I say between 1 or 2 and 30 visitors - this post has now drawn 257 visits from alphainventions.com and it may still be underway....

--Update 9:39AM eastern... (you're kidding me...) - we've now seen 937 visitors from alphainventions.com overnight and it looks as though the flood is STILL coming. (Site load time has been a bit slow, but hopefully thanks to super-cache we'll hang in there.)

So - I guess that means you HAVE heard of alphainventions.com.....
