You've probably noticed the Google Adsense ads throughout the site. I have a couple of tools that I use to monitor adsense and one is a firefox plugin that tracks impressions. This afternoon it went to zero suddenly which had me investigate. It looks as though adsense has changed their reporting just slightly this afternoon.

For one, the main screen on login is slightly re-arranged. They have made a few other changes though. Channels are now increased to 200 possible channels. They have a report on the most searched terms (it will list 25.) They also announce the Adsense blog which is a scant week old now.

There is also now the ability to save custom reports to be viewed at any time (without re-setting the report settings.)

They also note another recent change which is the auto-optimization of ads. Say a block can hold 4 text ads, they might if it seems beneficial only use 1 wide text ad in that space.

The main thing I noticed though is that the adsense plugin for firefox is broken. I don't know yet if the plugin for wordpress (adsense logger) is affected. (The only way Adsense logger might be affected is if you have it checking your stats remotely to report within the logger pages. It doesn't look as though that has been affected by the changes.)
