Now, in the U.S., I'm thinking for many this doesn't sound like a big deal (free phone with service, $20 with service already), but for developing markets this will be a big deal as it will drastically cu tht ecosts. The design was done at a plant in India. The article also mentions the first cellphone completely produced in India from design to fabrication.
