Rhapsody welcomes other operating systems

There was a time when you had to download Windows-only software to access Rhapsody (an online music service owned by real networks.) However, that has changed. It’s a move that I’m glad to see as a linux user, but just in general it makes sense that they can open it up to anyone with a web browser.

I remember there was some information about Charter customers having either a discount or complimentary subscription of some sort several years ago. At the time, I was frustrated to see it as a Windows only excercise. I’m sure Mac users will be glad to see the service go multiplatform.

Looks like you can listen to 25 songs for free, or subscribe for unlimited streaming. (No downloading I think.)
